The drum screen – screw press large amount separator is the representative product of KUKJAE Environmental Technology capable of processing a maximum of 20㎥ an hour and boasting of high durability.

Having adopted a two-stage dehydrating method, it may be applied for livestock type with a high ratio of moisture (pigs, chicken, cows).

The first stage drum screen has a cover blocking the spread of odor during operation. The drum screen of circulation type fundamentally blocks vibration and noise than existing vibrating methods. In addition, its screen opens clogs reducing clogging and making it easy to clean. It is thus highly durable and semi-permanent and minimizes A/S.

The second-stage screen press has adopted an advanced wedge wire screen, maximizing resistance against the external introduction of foreign materials and improving durability. A special technology has been applied on the screw to improve wear resistance.

The adoption of an automated water level sensor fundamentally blocks leakage of waste to the exterior from errors during operation, preventing pollution from the leakage of non-dehydrated waste and not necessitating additional manpower to respond to errors during operation. In addition, its automated cleaning device automatically cleans after operation, innovatively reducing clogging (blocking), a disadvantage of existing large amount separators. It has solved at once both the problems of maintenance and A/S.

Capable of separating large amounts, it maintains the amount of dehydrated solids at 70~73 percent, reaching the optimal ratio for composting. It thus reduces the cost of subsidiary materials used during compost (sawdust, rice husks, etc.). In addition, the high collection of solids reduces the load of follow-up processing (liquefied fertilization, turning into biogas, purifying, etc.). The homogeneity of processed liquid maintains TS (total amount of solids) at 3-5 percent when turning it into biogas, not only reducing the hydraulic retention time (HRT) but also increasing the generation of gas.
