Product Description
A filter layer is formed through pressurizing the non-braided fiber bundles on the surface of the rectangular type perforated plate. Then the filtration is started with the gravity force less than about 30centimeters of water head.
The backwashing procedure is beginning when the water level is reached at given height. The backwashing is performed by relaxing the fiber bundles and sparging the backwash air to form intensive upward stream which can give a strong shear force to move the fibers.
When more than two of this kind filters are equipped in a same basin the backwash pumps are not need, since the backwash water is supplied automatically by upward stream coming from neighbor filters. So, it was called PUMPLESS FILTER sometimes.

 No filtration pumps

Pressurizing the fiber bundles on the strainer up to 0.5~2cm of the thickness and filtrating the water by gravity with 30cm of the water head

No pumps for the backwash

The water level is raised when supplying the backwash air and then the filtrate as the backwash water automatically is supplied by the overflow.(Multiple filter only)

for the filtration

The filtration area is larger than cylindrical or disc type filters since its shape is rectangular.

Non braid type movable fiber filters thicker than the braid type fixed fiber filters have the depths filtration effects.

High efficiency of

Salts adhesion and bio film propagation are prevented from the intensive movable backwash.

Possible maintenance works
without stopping the filtration

Preclude backmixing of the raw water by operating the back pressure springs when single filter was removed for the maintenance.(Option)

Application
○Discharge with enhanced quality of effluent as the third treatment
